More Details
This evening we shall bring to our discussion of the place of Buber’s thought in the present day a literary and symbolic figure that occupies no special or apparent place in Buber’s writing, namely the figure of the wandering Jew. We shall consider how this figure illuminates or complicates the thought of Buber’s period and of our times, while addressing the writings of Buber’s teacher Georg Simmel.
