At the event of the Holocaust Remembrance Day

Sixth Zoom Meeting in the Oral History Workshop Series:
Listening Against The Grain: Oral Testimonies On Intimate Violence During The Holocaust

The meeting will be held in English!

Holocaust Memorial Day in Israel honors the memory of the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis, often focusing on collective trauma, resistance, and survival. This event shifts the focus to often-silenced stories—testimonies of intimate violence—highlighting the personal and marginalized experiences that remain in the shadows of history

Speakers:
Prof. Natalia Aleksiun, University of Florida

Chair: Prof. Dalia Ofer, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
